Christmas brought us to my parents's house this year and for sacrament meeting the Sunday before Christmas, we were blessed to have a powerful returned missionary and a young Romanian convert speak to us. I've spent the time since then looking at my notes from time to time and wanting to weave them into something cohesive, but all I get is blown away by the power of that meeting. Each thing I wrote down was a sermon on its own. The whole meeting, well, I think I just need to copy out each thing I wrote down.
We understand and know those we are most like. We will know Christ more as we become more like Him.
Intellectual knowledge of the gospel is useless if we don't have a testimony, a spiritual witness.
If you do not understand repentance, you will not teach repentance and if you do not teach it, you will not build the kingdom. The Book of Mormon holds the key to understanding repentance.
Strengthening the patterns of the gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives.
If we do not understand the character of God, we do not understand ourselves. The scriptures teach us the character of God.
