And then this morning we went to the park, the little bitties and I. We used to go all the time, CW, Bam and I before Em was born, because there are about 20 minutes between when the big kids have to be at school and when CW needs to be at school: not enough time to go home. But since Em's arrival, we most often can be found sitting in the car in front of CW's school with the boys watching a DVD and me nursing Em. Anyway, in the fall, before Em's arrival, Bam used to love trying to climb the ladders, but he could never quite manage it. Now, some 4 months later, he is so fast (even with a race car in his hand) that this picture was all I could even get of the event (his feet at the top of the frame)

Before Em was born, Bam was the obvious baby of the family, to be tolerated, avoided or tormented as the occasion warranted by his older brothers, CW especially. So we would have this picture:

Now, the two boys are buddies, most often partners in crime, taking the world by storm with their dino as transportation:

I have been watching other friends' children lately as they shoot up into puberty and pre-men and I am slowly getting afraid. How soon before my cuddly boys are pre-men, with their voices cracking and dropping? And how soon before I nuzzle their sweet cheeks to be met with stubble? Oh, be still my heart! I need more time. It's like my mission president said: The days are long, but the months fly by. The days of mommyhood are long and exhausting, but I keep blinking and the world where my children are little keeps flying by me. Like I said, be still my heart!

I always get sad when H won't let me kiss him all over his face like I used to. T still tolerates it and will give me "big kisses" in return. They get big too fast!
Also, hurray for Em and the rolling over!
yes, about 1/2 the time CW allows himself to be kissed when I take him to school, the other half he scowls and says "mom, blow me a kiss"
I can't believe how big Bam is now and Em too. Very cute pics! Oh and Austin rolled over on Saturday so maybe he is as big as Em! :) Kidding... at least about the weight part.
Such cute pics., Angie. Yes, they grow up way too fast. My oldest will be 11 next month and I'm in total denial. Pre-man??? NO!!!
okay i'm really realizing that I need to meet Em before she goes off to college. yikes they grow up fast!
